Apart from baseball, Orange Coast College engages in basketball, crew, cross-country, golf, swimming, soccer, tennis, football, beach volleyball, softball, water polo, and track & field.

For more than six decades, the school’s tradition has been in winning continuously in huge competitions. It is only in the May that the Orange Coast College’s rowers team was seen burning up all their energy as they train for the 2017 American Collegiate Rowing Association National Championship Regatta.

Working as a team of eight, they received training from Steve Morris, the men’s assistant coach. So far, the Orange Coast College team is optimistic of a win mainly because it has endured several competitions and surprisingly won 11 national titles in the process. If it so happens that the Orange Coast College rowers win this year’s competition, then they will be building on the school’s legacy.
